Company history
The history of our company dates back to 1974, when Ennio Fattori, after having worked profitably at Danieli & C. in Buttrio, decided to start his own business.
A few years later, the company, established exclusively for the provision of services such as maintenance and installation of steelmaking equipment, also came to supply new machines and equipment for hot rolling mills.
Initially, the company purchased second-hand machines, which then underwent extraordinary maintenance and modernisation. The target market was mainly developing countries with limited financial potential.
Over the years, however, thanks to the know-how acquired and targeted investments, the production capacity also came to cover the entire manufacturing process, from design to commissioning.
In 2004, the company Sider Engineering S.p.A. was founded.
In 2020, the collaboration with DSR Danieli Sider Revamping (a subsidiary of Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche SpA) – which, with a wealth of knowledge, trained personnel, and in-house workshops, was the ideal partner – resulted in the creation of DSR Sider Engineering Group S.p.A.
